Are you ready to try something different?
Have you ever said, “A part of me feels…but another part feels..."? Does this feel confusing and even lead to difficulties making simple decisions? Do you ever wonder, "Well, which part is me?!" The answer is, all of them!
Welcome to your Internal Family System (IFS). IFS identifies and addresses these multiple sub-personalities, or families, within each person’s system. At times, parts may be wounded and carry painful emotions such as shame and anger, as well as parts that try to control and protect the person from the pain. We all have these different parts. IFS focuses on understanding relationships between parts, healing wounded parts, and restoring balance within the system.
All parts contain valuable qualities and our core Self knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. Let me help you uncover your inner wisdom and release constraints so that you may live a more present and purposeful life.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker, with over 14 years of clinical experience. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University. I am an IFS Trained therapist (Level 1) and use this therapy regularly in my practice.
I believe therapy or counseling isn’t “one size fits all”. It is a collaborative process that is tailored to suit each individuals’ needs. I welcome you to reach out and see if we may be a good fit.
